Last year I had attended Spring India Day festival, hosted by WomenNowTv in the heart of San Francisco, Union Square. This free annual festival celebrates Indian culture with exhibits that included traditional Indian wedding ceremony renewing the vows of a couple, a wedding procession with decorated horses and ceremonial drums, henna artists, Bollywood dancing, music, and even a fashion show. Four food booths will entice your taste buds with mini samosas, kebabs, curried rice, island food from Fiji, South Indian delicacies, and roadside chat selections.
